The Walnut/Christoffersen Storm Basin offers three large open spaces for play and three soccer fields with goal posts. This park also serves as a storm basin. The City of Turlock BMX Bike Park is located in the northwest corner of the Walnut/Christoffersen Storm Basin. The park requires helmets, knee and elbow pads. There are three different levels of jumps ranging from beginner to more advanced.

The Brandon Koch Memorial Skate Park offers various skating elements ranging from ramps, rails, boxes and stairs for all experience levels. When you want to relax and take a break from skating, you can enjoy the shade trees and picnic areas in the vicinity. Helmet and safety gear are required. No bikes allowed.

Central Park offers a few park benches and large shade trees. This park is home to the John W. Mitchell Statue, War Memorial Cannon and also serves as the site for the Chamber of Commerce Building. The large deodar cedar has been used annually for the Christmas Tree Lighting to kick off the holiday season.

The park is also home to the Marty Yerby Recreational Facility and a large mural on the face of the aquatic’s buildings designed and painted by the community with the help of CSU Stanislaus students.

Crane Park is one of the City’s oldest and most popular parks. The very large shade trees that cover the entire park offer a safe haven from the valley’s high summer temperatures. The park offers a large playground, a small swing area, two tennis courts, ten horseshoe pits, a restroom facility, a half-court basketball court, perimeter walking paths, eight rentable picnic areas (Labeled A-H), seven small picnic areas with barbeques (Labeled 1-7) that are first come first serve, and open spaces for play. The playground features a unique carving of bears in an old Deodar Cedar tree.

Donnelly Park is the City of Turlock's premier community park. This 40-acre site includes a 10-acre man made storm basin, and offers two large playground areas, two restroom facilities, a half-court basketball area, several large open spaces for play, 14 rentable picnic areas (Labeled A-N) with three of them being covered areas, and 17 individual picnic areas with barbeques labeled with numbers. Numbered areas are first come, first serve. Donnelly Park is also home to the Brandon Koch Memorial Skate Park.

Pedretti Sports Complex was built in 1977 as a community project, and offers a host of recreational and sports facilities. This facility includes four softball fields, a hardball field, three grass volleyball courts, a concession stand, covered bleachers, individual picnic areas, a rentable covered picnic area for up to 88 people, and a playground. This facility offers the best of both worlds with the well-maintained playing fields, and a park-like setting.

The nine full-size soccer fields are used by Turlock Youth Soccer Association and many others and is host to many tournaments for local and state organizations. The complex offers two softball fields, a small playground, an amphitheater with a stage, a large picnic area, and a restroom facility.

Swanson-Centennial Park offers a large playground, a large dog park, perimeter and interior walking paths, a covered picnic area with barbeques, an individual picnic area, large open space for play, and a Centennial Celebration Memorial Tree. This park was named in honor of Turlock’s 100th birthday in 2008. The community donated and planted 100 trees in honor of Turlock’s Centennial Celebration. Kids from the after school programs were able to vote on and select the theme, color scheme, and elements of this playground.
